Bantug Lake Ranch
An accessible getaway from the city while still remaining in Bacolod.
Once a family-owned farm and orchard, the proprietors opened it up to the public and added amenities like a man-made lake, horseback riding, a swimming pool, a large park area, boating, fishing, and a rustic restaurant.
Recently, they created villas for short and long-term stays. The transformation of farmland into a true community space over the decades has helped the lake ranch expand into more than just open space.
It has become a place where city residents can create memories with family and friends through the numerous activities available on the ranch.
Sustainable Practice
The Lake Ranch is an extension of the BREDC’s vision of sustainability through eco-friendly practices. The eco-farm raises its own poultry and livestock and grows its vegetables on-site. Locals and subdivision residents can source their produce from the eco-farm which prides itself on chemical-free vegetables and herbs, the products are also used in the ranch’s restaurant.
The eco-farm creates its own fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides, and flowering solutions while maintaining that the operation remains environmentally sound.
